Project64 BSOD Windows 10
Not sure if this helps anyone but I have Project64 1.7.0.49 working in Windows 10 64-bit.
Uninstall all instances of Project 64 from your pc.
Delete all contents from your Project64 1.7.0.49 installation folder.
Install Project64 1.7.0.49 AS ADMIN.
When it is finished installing DO NOT RUN IT.
Find the Project64 1.7.0.49.EXE file. (not a shortcut)
Right click it and choose properties.
In compatibility choose Windows XP (service pack 3)
Now run that same file AS ADMIN.
Now close the emulator.
Now create a shortcut. (send to desktop)
Now go to the desktop, find the shortcut and right click it and choose properties.
In compatibility choose Windows XP (service pack 3)
Now run the shortcut on the desktop AS ADMIN.
Now you are fine.
In settings use all of Jabo's 1.7.0.49 plugins.
In Graphics use 640x480 for both windowed and full screen settings BUT
use triple buffer vsync for full screen.
Run your games and use alt/enter to switch between window and full screen.
All is working perfectly for me at this time.
Note: from this point on you do not have to run your desktop shortcut as admin. you can just double click it.
Also: not sure if any of you are using the Xbox One controller but I had to change the controller plug in to N-Rage's Direct-Input8 V2 1.82 (which is included with the emulator installation) in order to use it. I needed to manually create a MemPaks directory and had to save then reopen a controller profile in order to save it but other than that no issues so far.
